Alliance for Development and Promotion of the Commune of Hoji-ya-Henda - APDCH

Alliance for Development and Promotion of the Commune of Hoji-ya-Henda (APDCH), which is a network of 23 civil society organizations, based in the municipality of Cazenga – Luanda. APDCH was founded in 1998, and it was formally registered in November 2003 under the Law 14/91 - Angola Law Associations. Since 2003, APDCH has implemented Community Development Projects, benefiting Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Angola, within the province of Luanda and the northern region of the country (Uíge and Zaire provinces). The main focus of the APDCH programs has been the promotion of civil society participation in the formulation and implementation of public policies and local development management, through capacity building of CSOs and local authorities. From 2009 to 2011 OSISA/Angola financed a local community newspaper produced by APCH, called “Ecos do Henda”. APDCH is a credible civil society organization with expertise and capacity to implement the project.
