Africa Network Campaign for Education for All (ANCEFA)

The Africa Network Campaign for Education for All (ANCEFA) was established in the year 2000 and exists to champion the cause of quality inclusive education for all in Africa as well as to contribute to the global education agenda, debates and goal-setting. With a membership of 35 national coalitions of diverse richness and capacities anchoring its work across Africa, ANCEFA facilitates Civil Society engagement through the Dakar-based Regional Secretariat, Programme Offices in Lome, Lusaka and Nairobi, and National Education Coalitions to deliver on its advocacy and campaign work to contribute to the realisation of the right to Education. ANCEFA is a member of the Global Education Movement, the Global Campaign for Education (GCE). ANCEFA is governed by a representative Board of six moderators representing six regions across Africa, being, Anglophone Southern Africa, the Anglophone Eastern Africa, the Anglophone West Africa, the Lusophone Africa, the Francophone Central Africa and Francophone West Africa. In addition, four discipline areas are represented by sectors of the Media, Academia, Child and Human Rights Activism, and the Teachers Union fraternity.
