Consumer International and six partners will convene to share and exchange information on the results of the Consumer Protection Law (CPL) research on de jure vs. de facto assessment in three southern African countries (Botswana, Namibia, and Zambia) The research is analysing the generally applicable consumer protection law, as well as sector-specific CPL, such as environmental/sustainable development legislation, financial services regulation, food/medicines etc.
