Theory of Change

2019 – 2022 STRATEGY

OSISA aims to support a range of partners to implement catalytic and context-specific strategic interventions which will enable them to influence positive change in the attitudes and behaviour of citizens, civil society, the private sector and government. Making government and the private sector as a whole more responsive and accountable to the needs of marginalised groups.

Grant or financial support emboldens oppressed and marginalised citizens to organise and speak out.
Production & availability of credible information and knowledge strengthens public pressure for change.
Public pressure can force governments and societies to change policies and attitudes.
Existence of groups and communities to assume agency or ability to identify and build them.
Our voice and advocacy adds weight to that of our partners and marginalised communities .
